Day 01
The bus start pickup from your hotel in Hanoi old quarter, Hanoi office at 9B Cho Gao, Hang Buom, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi and around hotel in Tam Coc – Ninh Binh, Tam Coc boat station, Ninh Binh city and transfer to Cat Ba Island, the bus travel times from Hanoi is 3.5 hours, from Ninh Binh to Cat Ba is 4.5 hours. (included bus + speedboat or ferry).
11h30 : Arrive in Cat Ba Island. Check in the hostel (Buffalo hostel/ Sadhu Hoste/ Cocoon Inn ….). Free time for discovery Cat Ba Island.
Day 02
08h00 : Our tour guide and shuttle bus will pick you up at your hotel in Cat Cat Ba island town or Good Morning Cat Ba office at No 254, 1/4 Street, Cat Ba town, Enjoy mountainous view on the way to Beo pier and start Lan Ha Bay 1 day cruise.
08:30 : Boat cruises off Lan Ha bay, passing by Cai Beo Fishing Village and thousands of karst towers with many unique shapes (chopstick, seals,..).
10:30 : Kayak through hidden lagoons, tunnels, and archways: K.A cave and Bats cave.
12h00 : Boat drops the anchor at Ong Cam islet for sumptuous traditional Vietnamese lunch. Free time to relax, swim, jump off the boat, lounge on the deck, socials, etc.
13h30 : Afterwards, boat continues to sail off Southern Ha Long bay, passing by Dau Be Island, Vung Vieng fishing village, Le Virgin arch and The Kite arch.
14:30 : Kayaking, Swim and beach hopping at Ba Trai Dao Beach which is very natural, remote, quiet and less-touristy; discoverthe temple beach, more lagoons and arches by kayak
15h00 : Our boat will bring you back to Beo wharf. Along the way, you can enjoy the peaceful setting of Lan Ha bay in the afternoon.
15h30 : You arrive at Cai Beo wharf. The shuttle bus takes you back to the center of Cat Ba town or the bus take you back to Hanoi from Cat Ba or Cat Ba to Ninh Binh.
19:30 – 20:00 : the bus arrive Hanoi old quarter or Ninh Binh, making the end of Cat Ba free and easy tour. We hope to see you one day in the soonest future.
